CAMPUS FLORA

A Green Campus with a Living Laboratory

Our college campus is not just a place for academic learning—it is a thriving green sanctuary spread across 19 acres of land. With a dedicated green area of nearly 48,000 square meters, the campus is home to around 2600 trees, creating a cool, clean, and peaceful environment ideal for focused study and personal growth. We take great pride in this natural wealth, which provides shade, fresh air, and a habitat for local birds and small wildlife. For our students, the campus serves as a living laboratory where theory meets nature right outside the classroom door.

Student-Led Research in Botany

In a unique and inspiring initiative, our final-year B.Sc. students recently took on a research project to identify and tag 500 trees in campus. This hands-on exercise allowed them to apply their botanical knowledge in a real-world setting, learning to recognize different species, understand their scientific names, and document their characteristics. Such projects not only deepen academic understanding but also foster a sense of environmental stewardship among our students. At Veerangana Avanti Bai Government College, we believe that the best way to learn about nature is to spend time with it—and our lush, tree-filled campus offers the perfect opportunity.
